Thanks for starting a new thread I've been trying to keep up with the BP brides. I'm STILL waiting to hear back from the minister for July 2012 wedding. My TA says once I get the time confirmed I can sign the contract etc. Have any of you had that problem? IDoBeach2012 when is your wedding? Also do you know anything about an indoor location I haven't seen any pics of a ballroom etc. but in the July heat an outdoor reception is out of the question Great to meet you and Congrats on your engagements

Hi Sarella 727 I am very interested to see what some of the answers are. I am in the process of securing this resort after months of thinking I was all set at palace resorts only to be mored around multiple times. I literally just started the search again and my TA showed me Jade. It seems perfect the price is right etc. BUT before I signed I knew I had to check out BDW to get the "real scoop." I'm wonder what all these hidden fees are, also I do have about 50-60 people attending I wonder what the estimated cost would be and if it's going to put me way over budget. I think picking my dress was WAY easier than picking a resort This by far has been the most stressful part. Congrats on your Engagement I'm excited to see what planning is in store Julie

Has anyone used destinationweddings.com to book their hotel and as their TA??? Any pro's or con's

Hi everyone I just joined this site after my friend got married at Moon Palace in July. She said I HAD to join BDW and just read and read all of the threads (I'm still working on it) I put in my request with my TA for Beach Palace for 7/7/12. The most important thing for me was to have a nice beach, I was stuck with going to Riviera Maya which from what I hear is a little quiet but has a lot of seaweed, not cool. My FI and I haven't been to Cancun but have traveled to other islands and knew we wanted to have a DW. So I'm completely new at this and hoping to be a palace bride soon. I'm so thankful for everyone's honest reviews it makes such a difference. Here goes nothing! Julie
