  1. Hi shellbell9567, just wondering if you had any tips or recommendations for vendors on isla for your november wedding. we're looking for a good dj and mariachi band. i've heard vanessa jaimes flowers are great. i'd also like to hear any recommendations on wedding planners. i'm not sure if we'll have one or not. so far we've had bad experiences but i feel like we also need to inside knowledge! anyone know of a boat rental place on isla to transport 90 ppl from privilege to zama? any advice or help would be appreciated! i feel like our wedding in march is fast approaching and we're not as organized as we should be...! thank you!
  2. Oh great! Thanks so much. Also, does anyone know if that fee to have the event at Zama is negotiable at all? Or is that pretty standard? Does anyone have any info on organizing taxis (or golf carts) to shuttle ppl back and forth from Playa Norte to Zama? Are you all dealing with Jonas Rodriguez at Gourmet Events - he hasn't given me much info yet... but glad to hear Zama's new management is easier to deal with! Thanks again!!
  3. Hi, we're getting married on Isla Mujeres in late March 2012. We have Zama booked for the venue and Privilege Aluxes for the hotel where everyone will stay. Any helpful tips for the island would be great - we've never been! Just sounded do cool we decided to just go with it. Privileges is trying to sell us on having the wedding there, but I really like the look of Zama - can anyone who's had their wedding at Zama let me know what they thought of it? I want to be able to bring some of my own decorations, does Zama let you? Also, any good suggestions for a dinner the night before the wedding with all our guests? Probably be about 70-80 ppl. Thanks and congrats to all the Isla Mujeres brides!
  4. ilovemypitbull - I would love some info on Zama Beach Club if you have anything handy. it looks amazing! and heatherkemp - do you have anything useful on villa rolandi? looks like a good place to stay. thanks!
  5. Hi Kelly, We're just starting the search for a place in Mexico and Cabo seems to be the most convenient since we have people coming from Australia. I'd love to hear what you learned on your trip down there (I've never been to Mexico!) We don't want the heart of Cabo either. Looking for a place that has charm and is unique rather than one of those mega resorts. But we'd also love to have all the guests (maybe about 70 ppl) stay in the one place. Capella also looked interesting - if we could use their villas. Did you go there too? Thanks! Sascha
