Read your blog...HELP!!! My daughter wants this destination wedding in T&C We have been in touch with Diane and are deceiding now about which venue. We were pretty happy with the somerset and find they can be quite flexible about customizing a plan. Then my daughter saw the royal palms...gorgeous property but seem to be less flexible and the rooms quite a bit more expensive. As a new yorker I would love to have a good option right here! My daughter was supposed to get married three years ago...The wedding was set to take place at tribecca rooftop. The proverbial shit hit the fan and down went the economy...long story short she and her fiancee never made it to the alter. Thankfully she met her present fiancee and things are quite different now financially....I would love to do a wedding here but we feel we have exhausted every option we like and none are of a suitable budget. Gustavinos was another venue we loved but the expense??? I read that you are an event planner...perhaps you could offer some direction. Destination verses new york.
