Yes! The news is crazy. From what I've read it was an accident- out of the control of the hotel, but we'll see... I hope my guests don't back out now! I am getting married there in march. Please share your experience when you return. I too have been trying to contact someone in the wedding Dept for weeks now with no response. Just hope they are still sorting things out. I am trying not to worry

Your wedding was beautiful! Thanks for sharing the pics! Our wedding is 4/1/11 at GRP, so we are still finalizing details. I do have a few questions... 1. did you use the resorts flowers and cake? they were beautiful, and as mentioned above, I don't remember seeing those options 2. how was the music when you walked down the aisle? who controlled it? 3. how was the dj at the reception? I was hoping we could just load up an ipod, but am told this is not an option. they said the dj comes with the sound equipment  I appreciate your help! Amanda

I have been reading reviews on trip advisor and I need to stop - they are so negative. We had a chance to quickly preview the resort when we were on vacation in the area in June - it was an unplanned visit (we were looking at other resorts in the area to have the wedding at and didn't like any of them), so Patricia squeezed us in for a quick tour to the gazebo (while she was setting up for a wedding she had an hour later). We fell in love with the resort but didn't get to see any rooms or other amenities. Wouuld love to hear about your overall experience. Â Thanks! Amanda
