  1. That's so exciting! Congrats!!! Â Did you have to get a marriage license from your local government office? Is your marriage legal in Canada? Did you have to supply any additional documentation aside from the birth certificate (with both parents names), and identification indicated in the FAQ section of the weddingsbyriu website? Â I'm finding a lot of answers very vague on this topic and want to make sure! after all, it's pretty important
  2. thank you so much for posting your review and pictures of your beautiful wedding. it has eased a lot of my concerns! Â congratulations!
  3. Yikes! Â and i thought planning a destination wedding was supposed to be less stressful!!! We're getting married at ROR on march 3, 2011 and have had no contact with the RIU apart from confirming the ceremony date, time, and wedding package with someone from the mexico sales office. Â after catching up on the bdw forums this weekend i'm starting to get concerned. I know that i can get flowers, etc from other local vendors (e.g. tai flora) but i'm sure these businesses need some notice, right? here's what is really bothering me... if the RIU doesn't want me to pick flowers, locations, etc. until I get there, its already too late to go to another local vendor if i'm not happy with the RIU options. it seems like a great arrangement for the RIU but i'm not so convinced that it will be the best arrangement for me. Â Has anyone getting married in early 2011 received any of the options for a RIU wedding (aside from the 'wedding packages')? Â I don't know if I'm getting ahead of myself or not, hoping someone can help. Should I try and contact the WC this early?
