Hi Everyone, I am getting married in about 55 days, and I am still a little confused about the wet bar rental/ bartender rental. According to the information that I recieved from the Majestic. We have 26 people Wet bar rental $300 for the area National bar....$15.00 per hour + 26% and the bartender rental is $15.00 per bartender Cost: $15 x 26 people =$390 dollars + 26% = $491.4 per hour + 45 dollars for bartender = $536.40 International bar....$25.00 per hour + 26% (there is not mention about a bartender rental) Cost: $25 x 26 people = $650 dollars + 26% = $819 per hour (does that include the bartender??) = $819.00 We have booked DJ Mania and we are having dinner at the Steakhouse. Can anyone clarify if the International bar price includes the bartender or do you have to add $15.00 per hour like the national bar. Also can anyone suggest a better package I should consider (e.g $500 dollar option or something better) Thanks everyone

Anyone have any experience with Holy week in the DR? I have been down there on another occasion when it was just ending and it was pretty busy. Unfortunately, I assumed that Easter was in the beginning 2 weeks of April, but it is on April 24th, 2011. Holy week falls on the week before Easter Sunday. I am really worried, because we had excursions and activities planned for our guests and from what I have been reading on the Signature Vacation website, that all motorized watersports, the disco, the casino and excursions will be closed from Wednesday April 20th 2011. Effectively that shuts down any trips we had planned and our guests will be staying at resort and not enjoying the full Dominican experience. Some of the people that our coming have never traveled before and we have been hyping up the excursions and nightlife. Does anyone have any suggestions or can give me any reassuring news about that week...

I can't wait!! we just confirmed our date on the beach at the Majestic Colonial on April 21 2011 at 3pm!! So much stuff to get organized!! We just spoke to Photo Phil and we are looking for other couples around the same time to possibly split the cost? We also viewed some of the pictures from the wet bar and they look great! Anyone have any information if DJ Mania needs to be booked in advance of us arriving or if he has any contact information for a deposit? Any tips? Congratulations to everyone!!
