  1. Hi Michelle, I'm getting married at the Riu Palace Mexico this October 2010. I still have a lot of quesitons right now myself, but I'm sure I can be a better help to you once I get back from having my wedding there! In the mean time, please let me know if you come across any interesting/useful information about the Riu Palace Mexico and I'll do the same for you!

Can you recommend which restaurant we should book for our reception? Any other info would be greatly appreciated!!!

As far as weight loss goes, diet is the hardest part. People do not realize that what they burn is not as much as they think, and extra calories add up fast. I'm a marathon runner but am working on gaining muscle so I've been lifting weights 5 days a week instead of just 3 and also heavier weights. Cardio is great, but if you're just putting in the time and not the effort it won't get you the results you desire. Every time I do cardio it has a purpose. Ha, I'm obsessed with fitness and manage a personal training company, so I go off on the subject a lot...... Hi there, I need some adivce! I have trouble eating a certain number of calories - I find that I get really hungry and go past my calorie limit. Any tips for managing hunger and keeping calorie counts low? Thanks

My feet are tore up from running so they need some major help to get into wedding shape! Hi, I'm using Crest Classic Whitestrips, which you're supposed to use twice a day for 2 weeks. but I find my teeth get very sensitive if I use them twice a day, so I'm just using 1 a day. It's supposed to work the same, just take a bit longer. So you only have 8 more pounds to go? That's awesome, you're so close and still have so much time! Cna I ask how much you've lost in total and if you have any tips for the rest of us? My biggest issue is I eat too many calories, I don't know how to eat less without feeling super hungry. Thanks!

  7. Hi, My name is Jessica and I am getting married at the Riu Palace Mexico on October 21, 2010! I would love to hear from other brides who are going to or have had a wedding at this resort:) Thanks!
  8. Hello! My name is Jessica and I am getting married October, 21, 2010 at the Riu Palace Mexico! I am looking for any advice, tips or suggestions from anyone who has already had a destination wedding. I have a few specific questions: 1. What are the typical vows used in a Mexican civil marriage ceremony? 2. Which restaurant at the Riu Palace Mexico should I pick for my reception (anyone who has been to the Riu Palace Mexico pls let me know which atmosphere/food would be a good option) 3. Should I have a beach or gazebo wedding site? I've heard the beach can get quite crowded and attract a lot of spectators 4. What is a typical "wedding day" schedule like for a destination wedding? Our ceremony is at 2pm then I think we'll have some pictures done then reception/dinner in the evening. Any suggestions as to what should happen between pictures and dinner? And any suggestions for after dinner? 5. What's the best way to transport my wedding dress? We're flying with WestJet from Toronto 6. Are there any extras I should anticpate on purchasing for the wedding that would be neccessary? We're planning to purchase a photography package but aren't sure if we'll need more decorations. etc. 7. Has anyone had a vanilla wedding cake in Mexico before? Does it taste okay? 8. Any suggestions for keeping cool on the wedding day? Thanks for your help, looking forward to hearing from you:)
