Hi Paul, The Wedding Coordinator's address is [email protected] ... her name is Isabel Sabina. She's going away from Oct. 15 - Nov. 8, so if you email her now she might not get back to you right away, but normally she's really good about it. There is a hair stylist at the resort and you can book it through the WC, I think it costs around 50 CUC. The onsite photographer and the videographer cost 150 CUC each. I'm bringing my own photographer, but I can let you know what their photographer's work looks like --- they won't send you any pics over email, you have to wait until you get there to see them, which is the same with the flowers. As for location, she'll just tell you that you can look at the resort grounds when you get there and decide then. I'm having my own music for the ceremony, and I've been told there is a DJ there who can play a CD for me ... I haven't had confirmation about the DJ playing CD's after the wedding (i.e. for first dance, etc.), but like Jackobelle said, they seem like they'll do pretty much anything you want, so I don't see it being a problem. I'm getting married there in less than 6 weeks (YAY!), so if you have any questions you want answered, just ask and I'll try to find them out for you.

Hi Alisha, I saw that you got married at the Blau in December and used the onsite photographer ... I would love to see some pics since I'm getting married there too (in November) and am debating on whether to use the photographer or not. I see that you had posted pics but I clicked on the link and it's not active anymore ... any chance you can post some again? Has anyone else used the on-site photographer at Blau Varadero?

Hola amigos, I'm planning a wedding in Varadero, Cuba for November 2009 .... only we haven't decided on a resort yet : ( I've heard great reviews from so many different resorts, I'm having a hard time choosing the right one for us. I want a clean resort with good (i.e. food safe) food ... a nice wedding location (gazebo, arch, etc.) and a good on-site photographer (unless someone knows of one who'll travel for under $2500). Any suggestions? Lori
