Our wedding at the Catalonia was mid-March and what a fantastic place. The staff were amazing to us, every place we hung out they treated us so well. Elena and Cora are WONDERFUL people, and do everything they can to make your day perfect. I have plans to return to this resort for our anniversary or definately in the not too far off future!

Mexican Weddings did do our photos at the Catalonia and I am very happy with them!

Congrats to you, stunning photo's, you are a beautiful bride! I look forward to reading the review, as I get married there in just over 2 weeks!

We are not doing a private reception, all I want is a nice dinner with everyone, however I haven't discussed a cocktail hour on the beach. Never really thought about that. I generally prefer, simple, not too much planning, I find things usually work better for me that way because I have no expectation of what it was supposed to be. hahah We were planning a trip for late March, and when we got engaged just prior to Christmas it seemed to be good timing to get married because our business really dictates the time we can get away. The next available time would have been the Fall, and I didn't want to risk hurricane weather! Thank again for the post.

I'm also wondering if it's not possible to still get a photographer for a couple hours, for a reasonable cost, or if it's just too soon. The wedding is very small so I'm not too worried, but it'd be nice to come away with a dozen professional shots that I love. Also, I'm going to see about finding someone at the resort to perform our symbolic. I was just informed today by the WC that we can no longer change the script and must follow theirs. One way around that, is to have a friend or someone else read ours. Trying to remain stress-free stacee

Hi Catalonia brides, I get married there next month. Were either of you able to change your wedding script/vows? I just got word today that I can't, that they have changed the policy sent Morgan got married. I've very disappointed.

Thanks everyone! It's hard to concentrate on anything, I'm so excited! Had a great weekend crossing a couple more must get done's off my list!

Hi all, I just came across this website recently, lots of great information, I had no idea. I am getting married in the Maya Riviera in a month! A very simple wedding yet it seems like so much to do. Hopefully my sanity will remain with me throughout the next month. haha
