I already have a dress and veil. I do need shoes though. I've been reading some posts about wedding shoes...would it be difficult to wear heels in sand? Also should i ask the WC about flowers? Do they usually have different types to choose from at the resorts? I am so clueless about all of this!

We are planning on having a big AHR about 2 weeks after we get home. We only have about 12 going to mexico with us so we want a reception for family and friends. Does it sound tacky to have a beach themed reception? We will be holding it in my father in laws backyard. (He owns 40 acres of land). Has anyone ever heard of renting a dancefloor though??

I think you all have absolutely beautiful rings!! I went and looked at rings and picked this one as my "dream" ring. I still can't believe I get to wear this everyday!! It is a platinum Tacori ring. The band has .75cts. and the main diamond I believe is 1.02cts. The main diamond is an emerald cut with two smaller emerald cuts on either side. I need opinions on the band though. On the engagement ring, the design only goes halfway around. On the wedding band that is designed to go with it, the design goes all the way around. Would these look funny together or is it just me being paranoid? Any opinion would help because I just don't know!
