I'm going through the process of getting apostilles for our birth certificates right now too. If you're really worried, get the apostilles and take them just in case. One of the resorts I am considering requires passports and birth certificates with apostilles. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies from everyone. I haven't been able to get back to the message board recently because I've been bogged down with school, work, and wedding details. Anyway, has anyone had a wedding at the aventura spa palace? I was considering this resort but after reading some of the recent reviews on tripadvisor.com, I'm not so sure. From what I have read, it seems like you have to really complain to get a room with a view. I read so many reviews where people were unhappy with their rooms and then end up changing at least once. I don't want to mess with this. I think I am going to go with the Riviera Maya so any suggestions would be really helpful. Also, this will be a small wedding. Hi everyone. My name is Betsy and my wedding date is December 20th of this year. We know we want to go to Mexico or the Caribbean to get married but are having trouble deciding where. I'm thinking Los Cabos, or maybe Rivieria Maya. I don't really think I want to have it in Cancun. We know we want an all-inclusive resort and probably need one where there's plenty of activities to do. I'm definitely open for suggestions. Thanks and good luck to all of the brides-to-be!
