I like these threads....I have no idea about resolution, ppi etc etc.....

I love the photoshop tips, it really helps.
post & let us know how it turns out.

I've made 1/2 the pages for the book I'm working on. I think it will look fine. You can see some fuzziness around the edges in some pictures (look at the edge of the mountain in the picture below).

ya. its very tough to take a webimage from 72dpi and make it print quality unless the image is large enough to begin with. if you bump up the DPI to 150-300 it will be print quality but it will retain the original pixelation from being at the lower resolution. you can try and cheat that by doing noise reduction in adobe light room or photoshop. IF you have the original file though you should be able to make that no problem. and trust me. ive been using photoshop for 12 years now and i know 10% of what it can do hahahaha. its really endless. PM me if you have any questiosn. i love geeking out over photoshop and photography questions

great to have a new photoshopper on the forum. I've been using it for many years, but never to do a lot of things. I've just started trying to learn new things with photoshop & it has been a lot of fun. I have so much to learn.

This photobook turned out great. I used the artistic effects to cover up that the images started off low resolution. They looked fuzzy in on my screen (like above the mountains) but they printed great. I used the cutout effect a little too much because it was the only one that didn't show any fuzziness. Turns out I didn't need to do that.

I gave it to her at her rehersal dinner & she really liked it. This is her telling her husband what all the pictures were of

Ideally, I would have the high resolution images, but I knew she wouldn't have time to send them to me. It also wouldn't have been a surprise then.

ya those photobooks are a great gift. i have many couples say that someone in their wedding party or a guest is a designer or photogarpher and want to design a book for them for their wedding gift and im always happy to be saved the work of designing it. i always offer them the option to have it professionally printed and bound into a real album from places that wont let non-professionals order with them though because the quality is just soooo much nicer for just maybe $200-300 more but it ends up being half the price from originally.

my sisters had albums done from like mypublisher.com and they are fun and worth the money though and the layout is very easy for anyone to do.

    • It’s been years... and I’m now searching for the same in Montego Bay or Negril. Did anyone ever have any luck finding?
    • Hello, I'm new to this site. I got engaged already and get married by next year. I have some doubts regarding our dating destination. Hope you will help me. Thank You!
    • Hello everyone,
Well, this upcoming valentine's day is special for me because I got engaged and planning to spend the day with my fiance. I'm planning to give her an ethical jumpsuit.

Other than that I have been searching the internet for some nice discounted coupons and searched among my friends and found different sites. Now, we are looking forward to that wonderful day. We searched a lot and found out, Escape The City. Orangeville is a great place for a day trip or weekend gateway from Toronto.
Theatre Orangeville is offering a weekend package that includes 2 tickets to a Live performance at the theatre, Premium Overnight Accommodations at Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn and Suites and $75 Downtown Wine and Dine Voucher which is valid at select Downtown restaurants, and Free Entry to the scenic Trails & Bridges of Island Lake.

We are so excited and eagerly waiting for that day.
If anyone has got any other suggestions for the venue, kindly share your thoughts/ideas.
      Thank You!

    • Please tell me, the best wedding venue in Saskatoon, SK.
    • Hey everyone! Like the others here, I'm interested in wedding reception, venue and all related steps & stuff. Starting with my first and the most important note is that we're international couple and we need to think of bilingual wedding. So the first thing we need to think of is whether it will be interpretation or 2 different venue coordinators, sermons and stuff? What is your experience, what could be the best and affordable solution? From googling the issue I've found this Interactio app team ( describing possible solution here  http://blog.interactio.io/case-study-weddings )Basically they offer to hold the venue in the main language, additionally providing simultaneous interpretation online to other quest's mobile phones. Looks like really easy and creative idea. What about the others? How did you solve this kind of obstacle? Any additional advises would be very welcomed here
