Hi ladies,

 

I am looking at booking at Cabo del sol but i am unsure about final prices! I am scared everything will add up, and I will be left with not being able to afford it! We are thinking of having around 70-100 people; and want to have the place until midnight! Does anyone have an idea of the total price? We wAnt to stay under 30,000 Canadian!

You'll be surpised, Cabo is EXPENSIVE! Just a little heads up, as I too did not anticipate such a huuuge difference in cost for a Cabo wedding vs other beaches in Mexico.

 

As for your 30k budget in CAD, that's about 22k in USD (almost everything in cabo is priced in USD) - is this your entire budget? (rings, dress, DJ, flowers, video, photography, rings etc?) because an entire budget of 22k budget in Cabo for that high of guest count is actually considered a "very low budget" in Cabo (I should know, as our original budget was $20k USD but for 40 guests). We were blown away at how quickly a non-resort style wedding added up. Photography and videography services are very expensive and will eat a bulk of your budget (if you plan on having). Flowers are super expensive since all are transported via cargo ship from central mexico.  A resort wedding will be by far the most cost efficient route to take with your guest count and budget. Have you all considered Playa del Carmen or Cancun? With your budget and guest count, you all can definitely pull it off in either of those locations! It's not as luxurious feeling as Cabo, but it's still gorgeous! I attended a recent wedding at the Grand Coral Beach Club in Playa del Carmen (outdoor/non-resort venue) and it was great!

 

Well back to the topic, below is the venue pricing information from 2016 I was able to find in my email. I visited Cabo del Sol during my site visit to Cabo when searching for our venue and I will say it's a beautiful location! And Luz (the coordinator) is such a joy to speak with!

 

I don't have their catering information in email since Luz provided that in person. If still interested, then let me know and I will search in my files to see if I still have anything on it. I don't remember the catering price being too over the top, but do remember their open bar packages were pricey!

 

Ocean Front (Beach or Grass) Ceremony Location at The Ocean Meadows + The Club House for the Reception.

Site Fee Monday to Sunday: $3,500 USD + 16% Tax

Minimum F&B consumptions $4,000 us

Minimum: 40 Guests

Banquet set up: Cocktail and Dinner tables, Chivalry Chairs, linens (6 options), glassware, China (3 options) and all banquet equipment

 

Amenities at Getting Ready Area

·                     Complimentary Menu tasting (up to 4 people) once the wedding or event is confirmed.

·                     Complimentary bottled water station for the Rehearsal Ceremony.

·                     Private preparation lounge area with Bridal Party.

Spacious living-room with private bar area overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Two separate lounges, one on each side, fully appointed with four wash basins, two showers, spacious living-room area and ocean view balcony. Contemporary Mexican-style décor.

·                     Complimentary bottled water and one bottle of Sparkling Wine with Strawberries at the Bride’s Lounge.

·                     Complimentary bucket of Beers (6), chips, salsa and guacamole at the Groom’s Lounge.

Waiter services during the getting ready time.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
