Good Morning Ladies! 

I am a newbie to this site and also to blogging! 

I know I am not the only one when I say that I have spent the last couple of week reading through thousands of reviews and looking at hundreds of resort and wedding pictures in order to help us find the right wedding resort for us. 
My Fiance and I finally decided on the Ocean Coral and Turquesa for our May 2016 wedding.  :wub:

I was hoping some of you out there had some updated information and costs from this resort. I know this is their busy time of the year and I don't expect to hear to much from them until at least June  :unsure: which sucks... but is ok. 

Here is what our plans are:

  • 5pm ceremony
  • 6 pm cocktail and hors d'oeuvres
  • 7:30 dinner ( at La petite Creperie)
  • Party and dance until 1AM ( I called and confirmed that this is the latest the party can go)

Do any upcoming or past brides have any words of wisdom for me to go on! 
anything and everything is appreciated!

@@jbeaulieu first off we want to say a huge congratulations on your upcoming wedding. From what you said it sounds like you have a pretty good idea how you want your day to flow and you are totally on the right track.

 

You will definitely want to plan for an hour of newlywed photos after your ceremony. In our experience a good timeline would look like this.

  • 5-5:30 ceremony
  • 5:30-5:50 Champagne & Congratulations
  • 5:50-6:30 - Friends, Family & Wedding Party Photos
  • 6:30-7:30 - Newlywed creatives during cocktail hour
  • 7:30- Reception

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
