Where R The A Sensatori Getting The Hairdo And Makeup?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to figure this one now and honestly don't know if I should book the bridal room which comes to $276 for 3 hours and hairdo and makeup and some kind of massage (Bridal Essence package) OR go out to a salon OR bring someone and pay a fee and what fee vendor or day pass? all are fees at this resort  :( .I REALLY appreciate any advise-suggestion-recommendation :)

The bridal room seemed small to me- so unless you only had 1 or 2 attendants I would recommend doing it in your room. They will do it in your room for a 20% surcharge- which is less than the bridal suite!! Or you could take over the salon!

(But the suite was really pretty and would be lovely to get ready in if chosen!)

@@kmk2016 Thank you :)!!! speaking of attendants do you pay for your bridesmaids or do they pay for their own makeup and hair? and how are you planning your day getting ready? would you get ready with your maid of honor and your bridesmaids or just matron of honor and each girl gets ready on their own?

sorry :( I just have no idea as of how it works. I was thinking to get ready with my matron of honor in the room and then tell each girl how I want the hair (will previously tell them about the hair salon so they can book if they want)

Thank you in advance :)

It really depends on what you can afford. It's not unusual to have your girls just do their own hair/makeup... Especially after paying so much to be at your DW. For me, I have a hairstylist and makeup artist travelling with our party so they will be doing everyone's hair and my makeup- the other girls can either pay to use the salon or do their own. Some brides gift hair/makeup to their BM. I did my first time down the aisle.... But that was a typical church/hometown wedding. If it's important for pictures, I would offer to pay for them- but if you don't care if they do it themselves- and it's not in your budget- don't worry!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
