Honeymoon In Vegas?!

Has anyone gone or thought of honeymooning in Vegas? I know the thought "private and romantic" doesn't come to mind when thinking of Vegas, but my fiance and I have such a great time there, and would obviously splurge on a nice hotel.

 

Since we're having a DW, we don't want to either a) stay down there while our family and friends go home, and get home then turn around and go to another tropical beach resort. We have big plans for a trip one day (Seychelles and Madagascar), but I feel like to come home and say we'll go on our honeymoon in a year... loses the magic of the honeymoon part, and will just feel like all the other trips we go on. (We travel a lot).

Yup!! 1.5 ish months after we return from Mexico we will be heading to Vegas. We are super excited. Fiancé has never been but I love it there. Was actually my

First choice to get married at but Mexico was a better option for everyone.

 

I agree, we also want to do it right away so it feels like a honeymoon. We will also pick a nicer hotel than I'd normally go for. Still not sure the Wynn will be in our price range lol. I think if you are within 2 months of your wedding and can prove it, you can get upgrades

Hi, 

we got married in Vegas & honeymooned in Hawaii last November. 

 

We stayed at TI in Vegas which was a really nice hotel givento us by our tour package agency. Do you know whereabouts in Hawaii you wan to go? 

We stayed at The Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki & Waikoloa Village on Hawaii Big Island. 

The RH is the pink hotel right on Waikiki beach, it's full of old fashioned charm. I loved it. 

 

Waikoloa on BIg Island is a lovely hotel too. 

 

You need to decide which island to visit before checking out the hotels.
