Getting married in 36 days!!! Panicking ALOT now!!!!

Hi everyone, We fly back to Negril, Jamaica next month in preparation for our wedding on December 2nd 2013. This is our second time to this resort. The package has been purchased through Thomson (Royal package) for our wedding. The resort use a company called "tai Flora" and in my package there are items that are included. Well, after numerous e mails and a shocking reply. For £1055 I get the choice of two bouquets unless I upgrade. I've replied to the email that states I can choose one of two bouquets and asked how much an upgrade would be, and guess what, it comes back "delivery notification failure" so, I emailed the exact same email from another email addy (personal one not the wedding one I created) and guess what? It sent, but still, no reply!. I get the Jamaican way is slow! but come on, all I want is a price?!?!. What I'm now inking of doing is: Using an alternative florist and whatever the 'credit' is with tai flora! use that for something like rose petals or whatever. My hubby to be also has an orchid buttoniere. Anyway, the florist has stated I need to order my flowers one month before, my wedding planner said if I wanted something unusual that I should order a week or 2 before getting into country (does the wedding planner liase with the florist??). Oh gosh, this isn't a good "intro", I've put myself across as a bit of a bridezilla and I'm not, I just want what I pay for as I'm only doing this once!. We are having a blessing upon our return to the UK in January amongst family and friends (we decided to go away to have a very personal and private wedding-and to keep costs down) and this was meant to be very simple, elegant and a church blessing followed by a lunch at my favourite country house hotel. I'm now so worried that once in Jamaica I'm going to end up forking out for this extra that extra. I'm really REALLY worried. Please, if anyone can give me any advise or help I would greatly appreciate it. For the last week or so I've literally spent 18 hours a day on the internet and have square eyes LOL. Thanks in advance for any help. I really appreciate it. I have loads more questions too to follow. Thanks, Sarah x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
