Hi Jenn 963,

I did go through my emails and drag and dropped the information we had previously signed. It was a honest mistake and it was corrected. Something like that puts me in a whirlwind but it is all okay at the moment. So you're saying there is a garden gazebo and an ocean facing gazebo. Are the views the same?

hmmm not sure if the views are the same......the beach gazebo has the beach in the background ..not sure what the garden view one looks like to be honest. I would assume it's around more greenery than beach....

We had this same problem  with the # of guest included and I simply sent her an email stating that I booked our  wedding through our travel agent at this resort because if all the great things I had heard and one of the MAIN reasons was it is going to accomodate the number of people we have attending. I had researched it first, had sent her an email inquiring about the number of guests  ( which she had sent me an attachement stating 20 ppl were included)  AND I   also had checked out the Grand palladium website, which was surprised to find out that on the website it stated that our package included up to 50 guests.  This all started after I had emailed her back the sheet to confirm the date and time of our ceremony, then I had asked her a question regarding the guest or something along those line and then that is when she told me that there was only 8 guests included.  I was NOT impressed and she tried to justify it by saying that, that was last years pricing and it had changed, and a bunch of other excuses that those were not the right numbers.  So I debated back in forth with her for a couple of emails, until she finally told me that she would honor the 20 guest ( which I was originally quoted) I know it doesn't seem like alot $20 extra a person but that starts adding up if you have a larger group going with you.  I also asked what the $20 person is really for??? ( she didn't answer me though)  What for them to sit on a chair at your ceremony, or eat at one of the a la carte restaurants, when those are included in your all inclusive trip anyways.  To me it just didn't make much sense.  I also said to her that maybe if there is going to be changes in the packages, that it should CLEARLY STATE on the website or  the attachments that she is emailing to people  WHEN price increases or adjustments will take place, so it's fair to every bride and there wouldn't be as much confusion.  Also when I had mentioned that the website said up to 50 ppl.....and then the one she gave me said 20 people, immediately the next day the website was changed.  I wish I would have got a print out of it. lol  What day in November are you getting married?  Hopefully you can get it sorted out with her soon...........

I have booked my wedding for April 25, 2014 on the beach. We are looking into having a private reception. Does anyone know what restaurants we have to choose from?

any PAST brides reading this....Has anyone used pastor York or any pastor at the GPPC?? If so, did the hotel charge you any "vendor fee" for this? did you go through the hotel or email the pastor directly?? And how much (if you don't mind sayin) did you pay for their ceremony services?

Please let me know :) thank you so much!

Hi kweigl25 - when is your wedding?  We are bringing our own photographer down, Claire Kelly from Anthony Photo Studio in Whitby, Ontario.  She's done some work for us before and does a really good job!

i am bringing my own photographer from home, but i have yet to find a videographer. I think i will end up hiring photoshop caribe in the end...I also wanted Caribbean Emotions but Carolina said there would be a $500 vendor fee...on top of C.E's service fees.

My wedding is April 25, 2014. I also heard that one way around the fee is to book your photographer on night at the resort so depending on that cost it could be a little cheaper, but thanks for letting me know the cost.

I believe Georges (from Photoshop Caribe) has sent me a video sample....if you want, i could forward it to you if you send me your email address :)

and ya...that option of having them stay over night at the hotel is one way around the fee but that all depends on which night and if the photo/video company agrees to stay the night. :) good luck!
