Any recommendations. We will be doing a private event and we are debating between the Mexican family syle meal or a plated option.  Thoughts?

Food is such an individual taste thing - it's hard to choose for others. How about going with what you prefer.......chances are good that it will also be simialr to your guests' preferences ......don't you think?

I can heartily recommend the "tres leches" dessert option .......it's a Mexican cake soaked with "3 types of milk" and over-the-top yummy!

Hope it all works out just the way you want it to ! Cheers :)

I think it sounds great! If you want a casual, relaxed wedding, a bbq/cookout would be awesome. With that many people though, it might be best to hire a caterer to cook all that food, so your family can socialize and one person isn't stuck at the grill. Do what you want and what is special to you. corporate catering dc
