Roman Wedding

Hello, I am also getting married this year on the Carnival Imagination on November 23, 2012 (Thanksgiving Weekend).  I first commenced by booking my cruise and then my wedding.  I purchased the Welcome Abroad Package since the other two I was interested in were already sold out.  That means there will be two other weddings at the same time.

Carnival Group Sales and the Wedding Planners have been very helpful to me.

I chose Carnival due to the fact that I could invite fifty non sailing guest.  However, what turned out to be a non sailing guest party has turned out to be a weekend wedding celebration.  My group started out to be approximately 12 rooms for my immediate family and close friends.  Well my wedding party consist of 23 rooms and 54 people attending.

Carnival Group Sales and Dining has helped me accomodate all my guest.  Dining has accomodated me in ensuring all my guest eat  together for early dining.  The wedding planner has prepared all the other things.

I am not decorating for the wedding I am confident tht the wedding planner will make it perfect for us.  However what I am doing is bringing my own party favors.  Housekeeping will be putting some trinkets I purchased in all my guest rooms.  Dining is working the last minute details to place favors for my guest every evening at the dinner table.  My non sailing guest which are very few will also have something memorable.  I did all my shopping online and purchased items them can use again and again.

What I am interested in knowing what locations are the wedding performed.  I expect approximately 75 guest attending my wedding.  Has anyone had their wedding yet?  How was the music and the ceremony?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
