Majestic Elegance wedding

Recommended Posts

I just returned from a week long wedding at Majestic Elegance. It was truely amazing! I fi were to do it all over again I would do the same exact thing! My wedding coordinator was Lisa Angeles Arnaud.  She was AMAZING. I had 60 people at the wedding.  I was a little worried that it wouldnt go as smooth as it did because we met with her the day before teh wedding but it was all perfect and so beautiful.  We had the wedding at 11 am in the Gazebo and the recpetion following at 1230 in the ballroom.  The pictures from tropical pictures( the people on the resrt) turned out truely fantastic.  I highly recommed having an early ceremony and the reception in the ballroom indoors.  It was so hot for the 1/2 hour we were at teh ceremony there is no way myself or my guest could have made it through the reception. I know many brides prefer their weddings later however with my group of 60 at an all inclusive i think that they would have been too tired and too drunk by the time 6 oclock rolled around and we did not want to waste the money  on an open bar for already drunk people. We had the internation open bar which was perfect for everyone.  The buffet dinner was the best dinner the group had all week.  Everyone was raving about the food it was fantastic.  I did my own makeup but had my hair done at the salon, and it looked awesome and they do it very quickly.  I cannot explain how perfect everything was.  As i was leaving i talked to a group that had their wedding the day after mine and said that it was outside at the wet bar and it did rain for about 15 mins that day and got everythign wet and it was jsut too hot. So i  am soooo glad i did mine the way i did.  Also the DJ on the resort was great as well. Lisa made sure everything was perfect and it truely was.  I had my pictures the enxt day by 8 pm, incredible.  If anyone has any questiosn for me -please feel free to email me. I have tons of photos.    [email protected]

Hello,

So happy to hear that things went well for you! I am also staying at the Majestic Elegance next March. I got a little nervous after reading some of the reviews on expedia, hotels.com. How would you say the hotel service and rooms were? I'm relieved to hear that the food is good. It is a little stressful because we are not able to do a site visit prior to the wedding.

I just came back from shooting a wedding at majestic elegance, and it is now one of my favorite PC resorts! staff , food, resort are great. I stayed in the Elegance club, adults only, and well worth it! huge rooms too in the resort. The lobster and steak at Sea & See were yummmmy! Also the bisque and salad! can't wait to go back!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
