Basil & Jenny's Kukua Beach Club Wedding!!!

We just had our Wedding at the Kukua Beach Club on April 9th 2012. we had Family from all over the globe 21 Adults and 2 Kids, and every single one of them including the 6 yr. old Twin boys loved it,,,, the Ceremony, Reception and the Kukua experience is something we will all remember forever!!!

We are so Thankful to have found Kukua Beach Club and Restaurant, and so happy to have met some really amazing people along the way including Bego & Toni, The Owners of the Restaurant. We got to know Toni and his Wife Begonia on a personal level, over the week of our wedding in Punta Cana. Toni was very hospitable and professional, he drove us back and forth form the Hotel several times that week and was at the wedding ensuring everything went smoothly. Bego, we can't say enough about Bego..... she was also our (Wedding Coordinator)and we communicated through E-mail with Bego for about 7-8 Months. She was prompt on e-mail contact, and we never had to wait more than a couple of days for answers. She was very involved, she had amazing ideas, very flexible and always had a few options. Bego made us feel comfortable and made the day relaxing.  Bego was also on top of everything without having to worry a bit and she also has a great network of Vendors.

That made it easier for us to find a photographer (Blass Badin at Blue Lagoon Studios) Could not ask for a better Photo and Video shoot, DJ was fantastic he was mixing songs from Four different Cultures Arabic, German, English and Spanish and did it very very well; the Laser light show added a nice element.

Amazing Service!!!  The Servers were very Attentive and Professional...... I had a new Drink in front of me before i was half way through with mine. Cudos to (Rolando, always with a big smile) he was the our Server. and then there is Juan! we can't say enough about Juan he is the main man at Kukua, he runs the show for front (and back) of the House during the Reception, and as this was symbolic Wedding he acted as our officiant he was instrumental in  making our wedding day so memorable and special!!

The food was Incredible well-presented and there was so much of it, we could barely have a taste of the Chocolate fountain after the Wedding Cake ;).

We are ecstatic about our return within the year to celebrate our 1 Year Anniversary at the Kulua Beach Club and Restaurant!!   Hasta Luega Bego, Toni y Juan!!   Xoxo Besos y Abrazos

Thank you and Gracias

Basil and Jenny

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
