Hilton Rose Hall Semi Private Dinner Policy & Licensing Fees

Recommended Posts

Hello future brides considering Hilton Rose Hall. Below I have provided an email response from WC Charline which my travel agent forwarded me this week. In October, I was quoted a fee of $750 for a semi private dinner, but now they will NOT allow it. Beware of this changed policy. Our only option is a private reception for $45/person. Also the website and everything else we have read about the free package states that all minister fees and licenses are included, however the WC states we must pay $250 processing fee. This definitely was not the resort for us. You may want to consider another resort if you have a strict budget like us! Their fees add up! We have confirmed Riu Montego Bay for our wedding- they have a way better package! Email: Hi Charline,   Can you answer the questions from my client below:   1)    I was overlooking some of the Hilton wedding info you sent me and their website--it seems to be some discrepancy. On both it states the minister and license fees are included. I would like Rose Hall to itemize the $250 processing fee. I don't want to have to pay for something that is supposed to be included. Answer: A minister's fee is included in our "Free Wedding" the cost of processing the marriage licences, courier service and processing of the Marriage certificate following the ceremony is not included in the free wedding package. 2) We choose the Rose Hall because they allowed reserved dinner parties. Can you give me more info about the potential reserved space? Are you willing to do the reserved dinner for this couple since we are traveling during the off peak season? Answer: Large parties are not accommodated in any of our fine dining restaurant, restaurant will accommodate a party under 20 max at one sitting. If the party is over this amount a private reception is recommended. We do not want to have to pay for a private reception. We would like it written in our contract that we will have a reserved semi private dinner either at the steakhouse or the new location, whichever is available. Answer: There are no semi private seating area in our restaurants that will be contracted either at the Luna Di Mare or the Three Palms restaurant. Our Fresh buffet will accommodate a large party, however it is advisable that all parties be present when the restaurant opens for service at 6pm. There are no reserved seating for this restaurant. 3) Who are the resort's photographer(s)? Can you forward me their contact information? The bride wants to negotiate a package with them. Answer: Bride may contact the Manager of the Photo Dayz Ms. Marjorie Baggo at [email protected]   Please let me know if there are any additional concerns at this time.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
