I am having a cruise ship wedding in November 2012. We will be on the Norwegian Epic. I have chosen St. Thomas as my wedding location. I have a private villa picked out.... that is about it. I am now in the research phases of everything else. I need recommendations and experiences for photographers, florist, entertainment, transportation and hair/make-up. I have found many through google but I would like to hear from the brides who actually used them. I have a wedding coordinator that comes with the villa but she is green and new to the industry. Because the villa is so expensive, I can't afford a separate wedding planner. I will get by as I am in the industry where I live but I would love some feedback. Thanks in advance!

Hello!  I just got married in St Thomas on 3/27/12.  We were on a cruise, and it was just the two of us.  We used Janelle @ Island Bliss Weddings as our WC, Elisha Orin as our photographer (and her husband as our videographer) and I went to get my hair and makeup done at Sugar and Spice.  I have nothing but GREAT things to say about all of these very talented individuals!  Janelle's husband- Stuart, was our officiate.  Every one of these people made our wedding day very special, and I would HIGHLY recommend them.  Janelle arranged to have my bouquet and we had a mini wedding cake on the beach.  She took care of everything, we just told her what we wanted! :)

I know it's been awhile since you posted MelloJess, but I am also a cruise bride. We are also going alone, and I am so stressed about my hair/ makeup and where I will get ready and who will help me get in my dress. Janelle is our wedding planner also, and I just emailed her these specific questions too. Janelle has recomended Pheonix Solutions for hair and makeup because they are closer to where the Allure of the Seas docks? What cruise ship did you travel on? I thank you in advance for your help. It's so great to hear it first hand.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
