Bridesmaid/MOH Thank you card wording

Recommended Posts

I did a search but could only find a bunch of threads on "Will you be my bridesmaid" cards. I'm making DIY thank you cards for my girls, and looking for great wording, poems or phrases that are good to use for bridesmaid, MOH, mother of the bride and mother of the groom cards.

In life there are old friends and those who are new
when chosing a bridesmaid it had to be you
from the moment we met you've been the friend
always close by with a shoulder to lend
so I thank you for all your help and concern
conversation filled days and all that I've learned
without you I don't know what I would have done
certainly not had as much fun
In life there are old friends and those who are new
but none like the true friend I've found in you

How glad I was when you agreed to be my maid of honour
For I've known you all my life and could have asked no other
To have a sister like you, how lucky can I be
and so its time for me to say,
You mean so much to me..

I treasure all the memories of the years that I've known you.
For we have such a special bond, thats tested, tried and true.
And now that I have wed, become a fine mans wife.
I want you to know you will always be important in my life.

In life there are milestones each rare and so sweet,
sharing with loved ones makes them complete.
So having you near on my wedding day,
You'll add to the memory in your special way.
I have looked forward and also looked back.
So many times you have kept me on track.
Again and again you've come into view,
so today and forever I'm grateful to you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
