i was reading through the rules and reg before posting anything. but i have one question!! if someone gets temp. banned how long is the infraction in state for? i am guessing when you are banned you can't get ahold of anyone, so jw

It depends on the reason you are banned, whether it's permanent or temporary.  But as long as you read up on the rules and don't break any of them, you shouldn't have to worry about that anyway.

ok thanks, i know i talked to a couple of my friends.. one recently got temp blocked for posting their email i guess... how long is that? she said she can't email the mods to ask any questions.

oh and i thought of something else, what if she pays the fee? will that keep her account reinstated?

did your email read something like this below?  if so, i believe it's a 14 day ban.

 

FYI - another rule we have is that if we find out that a banned member has created a second account to access the forum that that can result in a permanent ban.  so just let your friend know that's not a good idea.  thanks!

 

 

Your account has been temporarily banned for not following forum rules regarding attachments/downloads.

 

To be able to download attachments you need to be have reached "jr. member" or higher status on the forum.

 

The attachments are a way to reward members that contribute more to the forum. Downloads are a huge resource hog and very taxing on the server so we do not want people to just download templates whenever they want. It causes the forum to run very slowly and is very resource intensive.

If you do NOT have enough posts to download a template, it means you are not active enough.  This does not mean that it is ok to spam the forum with the same post.  That is considered spam and also a bannable offense.

Please do not ask for members to send you templates or downloads either on the forum or by PM. It is very time consuming for the member to send their downloads to everyone by email. That is why they are uploaded to the forum.

To reach "junior member" status you need to have a minimum of 150 posts.
