Go excited for you wendy is so nice and extremely helpful!!!! I am not sure wha you are planning on doing for flowers or photographers but I have good contacts for both if you would like to check them out!

Thanks so much!!  I am waiting to talk to Wendy and I am sure I will be asking you about your contacts soon! :)  We (my bridesmaids and I) just found our attire over the weekend so I am pretty excited about that!  But now freaking out b/c it is MAY already!!

That's so exciting!  Congrats on finding the attire!!  Don't freak out!  You have plenty of time and this site is so helpful and so is Wendy! I'm so excited for you!!  Mine feels like it will never come but we did send out our save the dates today!!  Everyone will be seeing our wedding website which we have worked so hard on so I am excited about that!!!  Can't wait to hear more about your wedding as your planning continues so nice to have a bride at the same resort.  I mean it was nice having this site before but now its even better!  : )  Keep me posted!

Ok WOW so a few things have changed since I last got on here. I talked to Wendy and YES she is great.  I am actually waiting on a CallBack from her now b/c she found us a super sweet deal and I am actually thinking of booking (I dont know why that makes me nervous about booking now,  it is only 6 1/2 months away!)  Which leads to the other change.  We were planning on Dec 26 thru 1-2 stay but apparently the whole holiday season is EXPENSIVE...like double rates!  So we changed it to Nov 24, which is Thanksgiving but oh well! I had a bridemaid freak out about date changes as she is in school so I was thinking I would have to change date again OR not plan on her, but I talked to her last nite and she is in no matter what, she just may have to take a later flight or whatever. DRAMA!! How far in advance do you plan to book?

 

So~how are you doing?  Anything new?

Oh wow that is a lot of change!!! Glad you like Wendy and she found you a deal!! Ya I was looking into going to the riu in december time one year and the rates where just outrageous!! Im sure thanksgiving will be just as lovely! Im sorry to hear about gut bridesmaid! Im sure she will get over it in no time not everyone reacted well in my family when we announced our destination wedding but now they are all in lol. We are going to book the end of july beginning of august our rates are not available until then. We sent our save the dates out monday and.everybody has loved them !!! So exciting things are finally coming together so nicely. Let me know how the booking goes!! Any other new news?

It went well.  I think we got a good deal!  I am probably going to continue price shopping/comparing until the day I leave tho knowing me!  I sent out the information to everyone so I hope they get in gear and get booked themselves!  We do have my fiances groomsman and his wife booked, so at least we got someone in!! :)  Other than that there is nothing new..just waiting.  I am having fun perusing these reviews tho. There are so many creative people on here and I've gotton some great ideas! What is your color scheme or what things do you have planned?  We are going to get personalized tumblers for everyone since the drink cups are so small.

Glad booking went well!! We are definitely getting tumblers for our guests also. We have books our photography and videography. Just sent out our save the dates a few weeks ago very exciting! We have to wait till atleast july to book. I can't wait.

Hi, I realise that is been a while since you were on here discussing your wedding plans etc, i hope both your wedding day went well and you both had great experiences.

 

i was hoping to hear about your experiences with getting married at Riu Caribe as my fiancee and I are booked up for April next year.

 

would love to hear how you got on with your wedding co-ordinator and any suggestions that would help us along the way.

 

everything seems so stressful and up in the air at the moment!!

 

any help/advice would be much appreciated.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
