No problem! What specific advice are you looking for? The main thread for this resort is "Married or Going to be married at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana" and includes the Bavaro, Palace, and Punta Cana sections since the weddings are all the same. That is the best place for advice, tips, ideas, etc. Good luck and have fun with the planning!

Just thought I'd mention, that you don't necessarily have a choice on time. If you are doing a legal ceremony (ie: with the judge in Punta Cana), you are subject to his availability. Ideally, my FI and I wanted a 4 pm or 5 pm ceremony. We booked 12 months in advance and had the choice between 10 am and 2 pm because that's all he had available that day (we chose 2 om because who the heck wants a 10 am ceremony?!?). Also, at the GP, if you choose to get married at the gazebo, there is shading for your guests to sit under as they hang a beautiful white fabric canopy above the seating area...still warm but it IS the DR, lol. Tell people to dress appropriately (ie: no formal suits or tuxes). Also, even if you do the symbolic ceremony you still have to be flexible with you time. Legal ceremonies take precedence (because of the judge) and they only do 2 ceremonies a day but still need time in between both to prepare.

As we know, wedding day is very important for gentle men and ladies. Especially for ladies, preparing for the wedding is very difficult. Usually, choosing wedding dresses takes them much time. Here, I would like to introduce some great tips about choose wedding dresses.

As studying, buying a wedding dress can be one of the best and one of the worst parts of planning a wedding. On average, a bride will try on nearly 20 gowns before finding the perfect wedding dress, and of course sheâ€ll look at many, many more. Our tips and tricks can help you maybe decide which ones are best to try on first.

Finding a dress that you love AND that flatters your body type is a battle and a half. But itâ€s one worth pursuing, because a dress that looks great on your will make you feel like a million dollars.
The color of the wedding dress is an important thing to take into account when choosing the ideal wedding dress. The consensus seems to be that the only acceptable color for a wedding dress is a pure white. However if you keep an open mind, you may find yourself with a wedding dress that is far more flattering to your skin tone than a pure white dress. Wedding dresses come in a wide variety of colors including ivory, cream and even subtle beiges. If you are happy to consider these options it is important to try on dresses in these colors to see how they work with your complexion.

Wedding dresses come in a variety of fabrics from very light materials like chiffon and crepe, to satins and silk and heavy brocades. Consider the time of year that you are getting married. You do not want a heavy fabric if you are getting married in summer or on a tropical island and chiffon certainly won't keep the shivers away in winter.

Beadwork is very much in vogue and can transform a simple dress into a stunning bridal gown that will definitely turn heads. Embroidery detail on select areas can add a bit of color to you outfit, or draw attention to a particular area of your body.

When you have chosen the ideal wedding dress, now it is also the time to buy it. Nothing is more important than your gut feeling and the reactions of the friends and family that accompanied you

Sinomart can provide you with many beautiful wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
