When I requested information in January she told me it was $115 for hair and makeup.
Thank you! She actually just emailed me back last night and her prices for 2014 $65 for hair, $70 for makeup, or $120 for both. She also asks that we pay for her transportation and outside vendor fee from the hotel. I will likely be staying at the Hard Rock, I wonder what they would charge for a makeup artist to come? I hope it is not the same as a photog because that fee is $500!

Yikes! I know that Majestic Elegance charges the same vendor fee of $300 for everyone (photographers, etc.)

Really? thats a lot of money! cry.gif I guess is nothing that we can do :( I am definetly going to book Anna for hair and make up, I spoke to her yesterday and I feel comfortable with her, she seems really nice and she was beeing flexible with payments and prices with my bridesmaids. I  def don't trust the people of the salon at the hotel, so I am glad I found her! Thanks for the information!!!cheesy.gif

No problem :) I also have her on facebook so that I can keep updated on her work. I'm very excited.

I'm not sure if any of you are still looking for a makeup artist, I live in new york but go to DR several times a year for wedding makeup etc. I can always do trials in NY or the area and

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
