Did anyone's cruise leave from Port Canaveral?  Can anyone recommend a hotel they stayed at the night before the cruise?

There are three that are constantly being raved about on cruise critic forums. They say they are the best and all have a park & cruise package as well as a shuttle to the port:

 

Radisson Resort at the Port, Residance Inn, or Country Inn and Suites

I've stayed at Radisson at the Port, has free parking, internet and shuttle to the port (you have to let them know which time you want in advance but easy to arrange).

 

Stayed there last year before cruise and will again at the end of October. If you get a room facing the port, you can see you ship there when you get up in the morning.
