First of all, I'd like to say hi

I tried looking for a place to post a hello thread, but didn't find any.

 

 

Now to let you know what I'm searching for.

 

 

I'm getting married in a few months, and since money is really tight right now, we're just going to have a beach wedding. I actually didn't want to do anything I was just planning on going to court and get it over with. My mother didn't agree with it and offered to pay, but since everyone is on a budget these days, I suggested we should have a beach wedding. Since the venue is free (YAY!!!), that's something we're saving on. It's going to be a small ceremony with only really close friends and our family (which is quite small). Living in Florida made the destination theme even more easy.

Anyway, sorry for the long story! I'm currently in the market for a destination or informal wedding dress. Like I said before, I'm a HUGE budget so if anyone out there has a dress that they no longer want, and might be willing to give it away for close to nothing, please send me a message.

I'm not picky on the color, any wedding color would do, and size wise I guess anything between a street size 6 to a 10. I know the range is a little wide, but since gowns can be altered I can get away with it.

Welcome Lilly,

 

there's a Buy, Sell, Trade section on the forum where brides sell all sorts of things including dresses...Also if you do a search for Wedding Attire you will find all sorts of ways BDW members have been able to find gowns for amazing prices and well within their budgets...happy planning!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
