Puppy Potty Advice?!

    I agree with everyone else above. I wonder, too, if it could be stress? I know when we moved one of my dogs (who was still a puppy but housebroken) had a few accidents at first. I think it was the change- it's fairly normal for dogs at that age to regress a bit if they have an upset in their routine. Between 6 months and a year both of my dogs would have lapses in some of their training: they either just forget because they're so young or they could be testing you. Just keep being consistent and your dog should get back on track again. He is so adorable- I hope his leg feels better soon.

      I'm really hoping you guys are right with the 'off schedule' thing. Before his broken paw, we were walking him at least a mile a day, with about 4-7 on the weekends. I know he misses it so much! I'm also going to put him back in his smaller crate. When he got his cast, I felt bad because it's so clunky, so I borrowed a crate about double the size of the one he started in. Probably not necessary- may even have encouraged this.
