We're planning a wedding at Dreams Cancun and I can't ever get a hold of the wedding planner to save my life. Every time I try to go through another staff member for confirmations or reservations, I'm directed to this person whom I can't seem to reach. The deposit has been made and I'm really looking forward to having our wedding at this beautiful resort.....but has anyone else had or been having this problem? It's driving me crazy.....when I called the 800 reservation line, even the Customer Service Rep told me that I'll "need the patience of Job" when dealing with that particular department at that particular resort! Seems so odd to me.....any ideas, suggestions or commiserations?? Thanks!

Hola and welcome to the forums!

We have captures many weddings at Dreams Cancun and I have to tell you, you experience is not uncommon. Not only for this resort, but by most resorts here in Mexico. They are very busy and they never seem to be able to respond very fast... its just the way it is here. Very frustrating when your planning a wedding and trying to organize and get things done. You just have to remind yourself... this is the way it is... and part of the charm the Mexico brings. Even though it makes you red in the face sometimes!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
