Grand Riviera Princess, April 2010

Hey All!!

We are getting married at The Grand Riviera Princess on April 29, 2010...little bit nervous - Dreams Tulum was my #1 choice but with Guests coming from all over the world it wasn't exactly the economical choice and we wanted as many guests to come as possible!!

I've been trying to wrangle up a photographer, Claudia Rodriguez has been highly recommended but has not responded to any of my emails. Has anyone used her or have any tips and tricks on getting in touch with her?

If anyone has any info on Weddings at the Grand Riviera Princess (to ease my mind) or any local photo-journalistic style photographers I'd greatly appreciate it!!

So looking forward to Mexico, it's been a DREAM of ours for 8 years!!

Can't wait! I'm also looking forward to chatting to everyone who is going through the same wedding destination worries!! lol

Chat soon, SuzyQ

Congrats and Welcome! Grand Riviera Princess was a resort I was originally looking at...I did come across a review on the forum. I would suggest using the search engine to find information current and past brides have posted. Wishing you all the best...it looks to be a great resort! :)

Congratulations SuzyQ and welcome to the forums! We have captured a couple weddings at the Grand Riviera Princess and have slideshows up on our website for you to view. They may give you a better idea of what the resort has to offer you.

Dreams Tulum was also a fantastic choice and a very small resort but they are both beautiful. The GRP has lots of wedding locations at the resort and Im sure you will find something you love.

Best of luck with all your planning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
