Private Party boat

Hello all,

I am currently searching to rent a party boat for use after the reception. At my resort, the reception must end by 10:30pm and we are the partying type an want the party to continue into the wee hours but are not interested in going to the resort club afterwards.

Therefore we would need to rent a party boat that could take us into the water far enough so that the music we would play wouldn't disturb the other guests

We were hoping to rent one for about 4 hours.

Any input would help, thanks in advance!

I tried doing this. The only problem is that the closest bay is in Akumal and the boats in Akumal don't have sonar, so they can't sail at night. Sorry.

Hmmmm.... Malisa is right Akumal being such a small town pretty much shuts down after about 10 p.m. too and most of the boats that leave from there are also smaller ones, so I can imagine they don't have anything that sets sail at night.

You might wanna check Puerto Aventuras, which actually has a full marina. PA is about 10-15 minutes north of Akumal so not too much further. They might actually have more options for you.

If the boat options don't work out -- I actually got married at an Ecological center/building right on the beach in Akumal and our party was supposed to shut down at midnight but the party went on till 1:30 a.m. ~ loud music, dancing, open bar options and all! Using the center requires only a $500 donation to their ecological programs in town and is a tax write-off. It's an open-air facility right on the most beautiful beach and is totally private to you and your guests. If you have any questions or want to see more pics, send me a PM!

Also, there are a number of places you can go in Pueblo (Charlie's) or if you want a private venue, you could rent out one of the restaurants and just pay for the license that allows you to have late music ($650 restaurant + license)
