Hey there. Someone just asked this earlier today. Here is that post: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t37343

Not many responses yet... I suggest you look around and see what you like. I am also making my own bouquet and think it will be fairly easy. I think the hardest part is picking out the flowers you want. I know I spent weeks even months debating about that.

I made my own bouquet. I wanted to do it in lillies, but I found I needed a lot of smaller "filler flowers" to make it work. I just played with the flowers and kept adding to it until it worked. I used a rubber band to hold the stems together while I worked with it. I suggest you just try playing with flowers you have and see how it looks. If you have a more specific question while you're working on it, I can probably help you with that. Good Luck!

Here is my bouquet:

Where did you get the little frames to put on ? I guess I'm most worried about how to put it together? Do you just hot glue the stems? And then use the ribbon? Did you put the extra length from the stems in the bottom before you wrapped with ribbon? I really don't want to mess up flowers with the price they are. Thanks!

After I had the bouquet arranged the way I wanted, I wrapped green floral tape around it tightly. You can buy the tape in any craft store in the floral department. It sticks to itself. I wouldn't use hot glue, as hot glue has a tendency not to stick in heat and humidity. I left the stems long on the flowers, and then trimmed them to the desired length, then wrapped the ribbon around the stem. The bouquet is very secure. I made the little frames for the pictures as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
