Custom aisle runner question

So I have bought the fabric and know the length for our custom aisle runner, but I am up in the air as to what the best way to apply our monogram would be. Do you think a heat transfer image, take it somewhere to be silk screened, or trace and paint the image onto the fabric?

 

Have any of you done one of these before? What worked? What didn't? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Have you thought about having it embroidered onto the fabric? It's more likely to stay that way and less likely to get ruined. Just a thought!

I am using a laptop & projector, tracing the image and then painting it my colors. Here is how I have seen it done:
