Thanksgiving in Vegas

Recommended Posts

I went at the end of May with my best friend and we had the best time! We tried to use a slot machine once, but we couldn't figure them out! So that was the amount of gambling that happened. But as everyone said, amazing food, tons of things to see, even just walking around and checking out all the hotels is really fun.

We spent most of the time just relaxing by the pool actually!

If Vegas brings your family together, then why not?!!! You will have fun!

oh, that must be it then. he probably does fly, but it's just faster and cheaper then coming home to texas. he doesn't fly home often because of the expense. maybe being in small town texas has something to do with it, too.

Hi Morgan,

There's so much to do in Vegas besides gambling. I lived there for 5 years and I don't gamble. I'm also going for Thanksgiving (flight leaves tomorrow morning!) There's decent shopping at Caesar's Palace Forum Shops and the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip. Many decent and inexpensive restaurants and if you're a show person there's Mamma Mia! (I've seen and recommend if you're an ABBA fan) as well as Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian (planning to see this myself). Also, if you're with a group of girls the Chippendales show isn't bad either :) Last I checked it was at The Rio.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
