hey Cabo-A,

Im also going to be booking with this company. It seems perfect for intimate small wedding ceremonies. Not to mention its close by to (what looks like) nearly everything! so after the ceremony it would be easy to find somewhere nice to go out. Congrats and Good luck! You'll have to let us know how it all turns out.

Aloha Everyone,

Thanks for taking so much interest in my wedding post. It's been a LONG time since I've had an opportunity to log in and post some feedback and repsonses. I am happy to say that my hubby & I were married on December 2 in Waimainalo Beach (Angels Bay) with Capt. Howie!!!! I am so happy I booked with this company & I couldn't be happier with the end result!

I am putting together my Wedding Review, which I will try & include pictures, and hope to post it soon. For those who gave me advice & tips - thank you very much! I am very happy we were chose this company. In the meantime, you can check out our photo gallery on the wedding website:

Hi Adrienne!

Thanks for posting, your wedding looks beautiful! We are also getting married with Capt. Howie in March. Is there any advice or tips you have from your wedding process? Is there anything you would've done differently?

Any input would be great!

Thank you!

No, there's nothing I would have done differently. For what we wanted, it was perfect. I would say to definently stay somewhere close to the wedding sight, especially if you are going to be getting married in the morning.

Do you know what time you're getting married & at what location.

I'll be posting my complete review by the end of today!!!

We are staying in Waikiki but we don't have to be in Waimanalo until 2pm to take pictures. So we probaly will have more time to get over there. How long did it take for your pictures? And how long was your ceremony, with everything, we're doing a lei exchange and cake and stuff too...

MrsFlatt -

We arrived at 6:45 AM (only because I had to steam my dress at Capt. Howie's) & pictures started at about 8:45/9:00. We were done with everything at about 11:20 AM. Honestly I can't remember how long the photography session took because it was all so fast (maybe an hour to an hour & a half)...but we were out of Capt. Howie's house by 11:20AM!!!!

Waikiki will be plenty close to Waimanalo Beach - I assume that's where you will be getting married at?

Sorry, I forgot to mention - it the ceremony was about 10-15 minutes. If you ask the ladies in the office for a "timeline" I'm sure they will be able to give you one. They did that for me! Since you have more things you'll be doing, I'm sure they won't mind giving you a timeline...

Cabo-A,

Yes, we are getting married on Waimanalo Beach, and also taking pictures at Pukalani Falls. Thank you SO much for your info! That helps a ton for me to get an idea of everything. That's a good idea to ask them for a timeline too, I didn't even think about that!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
