Has anyone used Florida Wedding Services (Orlando Florida Beach Weddings: Destination Wedding in Cocoa Beach - Clearwater Beach - Daytona Beach - Fort Desoto - New Smyrna - Ormond Beach weddings, elopements and vows renewals.) for their wedding in Florida and or Clearwater Beach? Just looking for some general feedback as they are not very specific about the details until you make a reservation and then have a non-refundable deposit when you do find out the details. any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I agree! I checked on bbb.org and I couldn't find them? I would give the bbb a call!

Hi,

My name is Morey and I'm the owner for floridaweddingservices.com. I would like to clarify some valid concerns from flowergrl.

There seems to be a HUGE misconception of what the Better Business Bureau is. The Better Business Bureau is a membership-based entity; this means that if I do not pay them yearly fees, I will NOT be listed on their directory. Just because a small business like me chooses not to pay those hefty fees, it doesn't mean we are not a reputable business; ask me for references! However, they do make a record of any complaint for any business/company even if the business is not a member - this means that if someone complaints about me, they would make a note of it for you to find out even if I am not a member. For your peace of mind, you can find a summary of our Better Business Bureau business record at the following link: BBB of Central Florida: BBB Reliability Report.

In regards to the bride's comment about having to pay us a deposit to simply get information; well.. that is just simply not true. My site is FULL with FAQ's about our services (who, how, when), vendors listings, everything we can possibly give you FREE so that you can make a wise decision in regards to hiring our services. Also, visitors are encouraged to even Chat with me from the site with their questions.

The only FAQ listed on my site that answers "we will discuss after a paid deposit is made" is the assistance of finding a suitable ceremony location for you! Why, well because that is not part of our services and if we will go out of our way to assist you with that type of planning, you should be at least be our customer; don't you think? I have never met a wedding planner that will plan your wedding and then get paid (or NOT as it often happens). As a business entity, it is understandable that if a bride wants in depth assistance, they you should at least be our customer. It is only fair!

Again, I pride myself for the full disclosures and tons of information I have posted on my site - I even tell you upfront on my contract what I cannot do for you - no one in this business does that (at least not that I'm aware of). Just visit my FAQ's page and you will find out how long it is and full of information. Also, any bride that has doubts I encourage to ask for references! References are the best way to know if a company will come through for you or not. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me directly. I just thought it was fair that I respond to your legitimate and understandable concerns with real information instead of making assumptions without full knowledge :-)

Best wishes on your wedding!

Morey

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
