Pros: On time, Prompt responses, Listens to your ideas, Beautiful photos
Cons: None

My husband and I got married on Monday December 16, 2013 at the Hyatt Zilara (formerly The Royal Cancun). I read reviews that the resort photographer was not too great, so I went on a search for another photographer.

I came across Samuel Luna Photography on this website and was very interested in his work. I emailed him to see his availability, pricing, etc. Samuel response was very prompt and he answered all of my (many!) questions. He was very patient and not pushy at all. Because of our budget we did a Truthful session with Freddy for our wedding and reception followed by a TTD cenote with Samuel the following day.

Freddy and his assistant arrived right on time on the wedding day and they made their way through the bridal suite with my bridesmaids and I snapping pictures, getting candid shots as well as photos of the dress, jewelry shoes, etc. He then proceeded to take pictures of the girls helping me get ready and group shots of all of us together. He then went to take some shots of the Groom and his groomsmen after taking about an hour and a half with us. He did not miss a moment. He continued to take pictures during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and all of our special moments. We recently received all of these photos from Samuel Luna and they are absolutely so much better than I imagined.

The next day was our cenote session with Samuel. He drove from Playa del Carmen to Cancun to pick us up then back past Playa del Carmen to where the cenote was located. Unfortunately, it started pouring rain as soon as we got to our location. After waiting for about an hour and a half for the rain to stop, Samuel graciously offered to postpone our cenote session until the next day. On our way home, it had stopped raining enough for us to stop at a secluded beach along the way home and take our portrait session photos on the beach since our wedding day photos had gotten rained out the day before.

The next day, Samuel promptly picked us up again and we proceeded to the cenote location. Boy are we glad we waited for the sunshine! The photos are absolutely breathtaking!! We have received so many compliments on the teaser photos he has shared with us so far as well as the TTD session sneak peek video! (We are actually the couple in the photo on this website as of today).

I would highly recommend a cenote TTD session. It is a unique experience and the pictures and location are so beautiful. I cannot wait to see the rest of them! Our whole experience with Samuel and Freddy was top notch! We definitely recommend booking them for your wedding day. You will not regret it.
