Hiring The Best Moments to do our hair and make-up was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Ours was a 2-bride wedding with 4 bridesmaids, and we wanted everyone to look their very best. Not only did we all look prettier than ever, but everyone looked like the best version of herself, not someone else. Our hair stylist was Alex, and he was amazing! I was the only person who knew exactly what she wanted, but that was no problem, because he was able to read the personalities of each person and give them something that was so THEM. I couldn't believe how well he matched hairstyles to personalities, especially considering how short a time he had to get to know us. The bridesmaids were all very excited to have their hair done up in styles they had no idea how to achieve on their own, but had always wanted to try. As for me, I showed him pictures of what I wanted, and he did a great job of recreating the look without directly copying it. Our only small complaint is that my wife Amy went last and was rushed, so her curls did not hold all night. She was the one who asked to go last, so this cannot be blamed on Alex, but it is a good reminder to never put the bride last. Make sure you go first or second, and if you need a touch up before the team goes, that is easier on them than rushing to finish your 'do. Overall, everyone was thrilled with Alex's work and found him great company, as well. Highly recommend him!

 

For make-up, we had the super sweet Marcela, who turned us all into glamazons!  She listened to what we wanted and experimented a little, coming up with the perfect look for each of us. Just like Alex, she was great at reading each girl's personality and making her up accordingly. I barely had the words out of my mouth about what kind of eyes I wanted when she laughed and said, "Oh, I know exactly what you want!" If she'd been wrong, this would have been quite an annoying statement, but she was spot on! I let her do her thing at the trial, knowing we could change anything we needed to, but the changes we made for the actual wedding were very minimal. My wife rarely wears make-up and was concerned about looking too made up, so she asked for minimal color, but after a chat about what she liked and didn't like, Marcela had the sense to know Amy would prefer a bit more make-up than she was asking for. How right she was! Amy was giddy with herself when Marcela finished with her! Our bridesmaids were pleased as could be, thankful for the airbrushing that covered many awkward tan lines and sunburns. All of us looked incredible! Ever since the wedding, my maid of honor has complained that doing her own make-up is depressing now, because Marcela's airbrushed job showed her just how good she can look! So, if there is a drawback to looking perfect on your wedding day, that might just be it! ;)

 

Both Marcela and Alex were wonderful people to have around, and the manager who came to oversee things at the trial and on the wedding day (Isa or Lisa, I never quite understood with her beautiful Italian accent) was great, as well. Everyone got along beautifully, and all of us were incredibly pleased with how we looked at the wedding. Huge thanks to Martina for working with us on a tight budget! While I'm not at liberty to discuss pricing, I will say she was extremely accommodating and made the seemingly impossible happen. I'm so thankful to you, Martina! You truly have the best people working for you, and I only wish we'd been able to meet you. To anyone considering hiring this company, DO IT!
