We had our wedding on Isla Mujeres and Disco Movil was highly recommended by our wedding planner. We both love electronic music so it was important for us to find a DJ who shared our love and would actually be able to mix one song into the next. After contacting Ricardo and finding out that he used to DJ in nightclubs in Cancun, and that the company's prices were very reasonable, plus it seemed like he was a really nice guy, we were sold!

Ricardo was very patient with the questions and comments we had and was always very prompt to reply, even if it was just a quick one-liner to say that he was out of town and would get back to me the next day (much appreciated!). We had a lot of dialogue on what we did and didn't want to hear, and he was very respectful of that. He also gave us lots of suggestions when we were looking for music to walk down the aisle, first dances, etc.

Disco Movil has a very large selection of music, and Ricardo reassured me that even if we forgot about a song we wanted, he could download it right away during the evening. One very minor quibble is that we had a list of non-electronic music (sprinkled with a few light dance-y tunes) we wanted to hear during dinner, since electronic music doesn't really suit everyone's taste (plus we didn't quite have enough electronic music to fill up the few hours after dinner), and we probably didn't communicate that properly since Ricardo started playing the electronic music during dinner. Not a big deal at all since it was all music we wanted hear anyway! Ricardo also took care of all the MC'g duties for the evening, which was a huge relief for us! Overall, Ricardo had pretty good mixing skills, and everyone young and old were dancing until the hotel shut us down - there was no lull in the party!

We are very pleased to have had such an amazing and friendly DJ play at our wedding and we highly recommend Disco Movil to anyone who is planning their wedding in the area! Thanks again Ricardo!!
