Pros: great communication, very timely, fun!, great personalities, accommodating, professional appearance
Cons: Foreign transactions

Dear Future Brides,

Let me start off with a recap of my wedding. It took place on July 9th, 2011 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at the Dreams Hotel Puerto Vallarta.  It was a blast!!!!!!  We had 40 of our closest friends and family and they had the time of their lives!!!  We are from Austin, Texas and had never been to PV before.

Thankfully our wedding turned out wonderful, but I have to admit I planned the entire thing myself and it was NOT easy. Very stressful, but we will skip that part.

I did not meet Photoshoots Vallarta before the wedding or visit my location before hand, but I was very very pleasantly surprised with Eva Sica and Pierre! Our personalities really meshed  well. In my opinion it is very important to get along and feel comfortable with your photographers, especially on the day of your wedding:)

Their communication was GREAT! I have to admit it was very hard contacting any photographers in PV and getting a good response. I didn't decide on PhotoShoots Vallarta overnight. I did my research day after day. Pierre was great in following up with me which ultimately lead to me booking with him. (Many Many emails)

Eva and Pierre were kind enough to meet with us before the wedding to get to know us, it was great to finally meet them and it put my mind at ease.

They day of the wedding Eva and Pierre showed up right on time and got to work. I didn't have to run around looking for them as they were very familiar with my location. They just showed up right at my hotel door:)

I loved the fact that they were able to give my bridesmaids and myself some direction with posing, but not too much direction.  They were able to pull great candid shots out of my father, who is very reserved most of the time.  I've had photographers in the past who gave no direction and it was an awkward mess.

They wore very professional dress for the wedding. No jeans etc.

They stayed until the very end!! I had multiple guests comment on how Eva "worked it" she was all over the place. On top of counters on the group etc! She didn't stay in one spot. She really gave it her all and got a lot of great shots.. I felt comfortable asking her to take certain pictures, and she was very pleasant to work with:)

THE BEST PART:

By far our trash the dress session was the best! I highly recommend a TTD shoot. Pierre provided great transportation to and from our hotel. He made it very easy for us.  I love the ocean and Trey and I wanted to do something adventurous so we took a boat ride! We got alot of great pictures on the boat, in the water, on the beach!

Although we were tired from a long week of wedding festivities, I am very glad we decided to get dressed up one last time for the TTD. Eva and Pierre were very encouraging and hung in there right with us. It was almost like a private tour of PV. Eva and Pierre knew the local spots very well and we felt very comfortable having them as our "guide" so to say.

For the most part I would say that Phootshoots lived up to or passed my expectations especially for a vendor that I've never met before.

My only con:

I did make final payment in cash on the day of the wedding, which is understandable especially considering the foreign transactions. For peace of mind, I would have prefered to pay by credit card, check, or paypal but all turn out well. For the price I felt we receive great sevice and great photos!

Their work speaks for itself. Their pictures are obviously beautiful!  Great photographers!
