Pros: Very clean, beautiful wedding, everyone had fun
Cons: Family was not let in resort with guest pass, missed a portion of the reception
Overall a good wedding but a few major hiccups.    We had a group of about 30 people all together at the wedding. 6 out of the 30 people could not stay at the Palace or the Santa Fe because it was "sold out" (tried to book about 3-4 weeks before wedding). They had to stay down the street at the Villa Del Palmar (not all inclusive). I later met a couple who booked their trip 2 weeks ago as a very discounted rate so I am a little upset that my husbands family had to stay off the resort when ther

Pros: Good food, good drinks, good friends and family = good time
Cons: wedding planner was terrible!
We were just married on 1/14/12 at the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas.  The wedding coordinator, Kylene, was horrible.  She refused to start planning until 3 weeks before the wedding and then went on vacation immediately after she sent me the first email for 2 weeks and did not have an out of office assistant on.  She returned a week before the wedding and basically told me that everything was booked for private events (not weddings) and that my only option for my 65 person wedding was the San Jos

Pros: Very Detailed
Cons: Extra charges for everything
The wedding was AMAZING!!! Pricing: 40 ppl, Caprice package 2,500. Location fee for terrace dinner 1,000, location fee for beach dance floor 530, if you want open bar it is 15pp so 600 for us but we opted out at last minute and glad we did, instead of people waiting in line, the waiters got tipped and they got all drinks for us. we had guests stay at timeshare resort so needed to buy them a guest pass for 100pp, DJ 540, photographer 1300 for 4 hrs but we had him for 2 hrs for 850 and that was

Pros: Great location, great food
Cons: non-swimming beach
We stayed here for our honeymoon after our Vegas wedding.  We had a mishap when we came into the airport, we somehow missed the shuttle to the resort.  But it all worked out.  We were welcomed with a drink upon check-in and from there it was top-notch service.  My husband and I had never been to an all-inclusive before and we had a great time.  We did go out in Cabo instead of the bar at the resort - the bar was dead.  But we met great people at the resort - people of all ages.  The good was gre
