We are staying at Coba, and I was just told by our wedding coordinator that we can't have our semi-private dinner in Don Pablo or Le Gourmet. In order to have dinner in these 2 gourmet restaurants, I would have to have a private dinner. Anyone else been told this?

Hey! My understanding is that the speakers only cost $70/hour but the DJ costs $210/hour. They may cut some costs if you just have the speakers and not the DJ? Just a thought, I'm still contemplating this option as well.

Just wondering if anyone has been made to pay the $900 fee to bring your own photographer? I've heard they are getting more strict on this fee, but my photographer has been to the resort many times and said she has never been charged that fee. Thank you

Thanks, I got an e-mail yesterday from the resort. It seems like the fee is $450, but I don't understand what its for either lol.

I did try asking the resort, but they keep thinking I want to privatize the whole supper and reception, but I just want to have the dance part by the pool. Do you mind telling me the fee they charged to privatize an area for the reception?

Hi all, I have another question that hopefully someone can answer. I picked the Romance extravaganza package. I am planning to do the included semi-private dinner in one of the restaurants. After dinner, I wanted to have the dance with the bar and DJ by the pool. Would this be extra costs? (National bar is included for 2 hours, and I know the DJ will be extra). Just wondering if actually have the dance by a pool is an extra cost? Thanks kindly, Christi

What wedding package do people recommend? I know I will be wanting some extras like live music, extra flowers, private dinner, bar service and DJ, video, etc), so I am unsure if I should go with the free wedding with add ons or pick either sunshine, unforgettable, or romance? Any advice? Thanks
