Hey, thanks for all this info! I am getting married at the Santa Fe in April, 2016. We are doing the same thing as you, beach ceremony, ,dinner at the steakhouse and thinking of renting the tequila bar for the reception. Just wondering how the tequila bar reception turned out for you? Our wedding planner that we have through the travel agency recommended that we consider decorations, lighting rental, dj and open bar service etc. with the tequila bar...just wondering what you have to say about that? did you rent decorations and lighting from the resort??? or is the area naturally beautiful?? I was thinking of having luminarie bags with flameless candles as a simple decoration that is easy to bring on the plane...just wonderinf if you have any advice at all!!! Also, did you do the open bar option for the tequila bar?? Any info would be helpful Thanks so much!!!

Just wondering if anyone has gotten married at the Riu Santa Fe???? We are planning our wedding for April, 2016 and am looking for advice, reviews, pictures! We are having a small ceremony on the beach and are having dinner at the Steakhouse and thinking of renting the tequila bar afterwards for our reception. We booked the wedding through a travel agent and I have been told that if we book the tequila bar we should consider decorations, lighting, etc. has anyone had their reception at the tequila bar? is it worth renting decorations from the resort (I find it a little crazy to have to rent decorations as it should be included in the price of the wedding). If anyone has advice, pictures or anything I would appreciate it!! Also, I am thinking of hiring the resorts photographers (My wedding in Los Cabos), anyone have any advice on that? Thanks so much!!!
