@@melaniesum - My wedding is on 16th December and I was assigned a wedding co-ordinator two weeks ago. I was told that it is a 3 stage process before you get to be assigned one. I told them I couldn't fill out my wedding wishes without having a wedding co-ordinator as I wanted details on flowers and they're the only ones who can contact the florist. I hope it's not long before you get assigned one x

Hi everyone.... Flights in the UK have now been released from Oct 2016 onwards and although I was originally planning to get married in February 2017, I'm not thinking that December 2016 is a lot cheaper and has the same weather forecast. Has anyone had a December wedding/holiday at the Gran Bahia? If so, could you let me know how what the weather was like please? Also, Thomson have advised that the hotel don't want to see a Certificate of No Impediment, but our UK Government website states that we need one....has anyone else done this? Thanks, Steph

Hi, I wondered if anyone could let me know if you need to go anywhere like a Town Hall/Registry office in Mexico to legalise the wedding? I know of others that have got married in Cyprus and Greece that have had to do this. Also, I've asked the hotel if we need a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) and get is translated but I keep just getting sent the list of legal documents and it doesn't include this but the UK Government website states that this is required. I appreciate any guidance :-) From....a confused bride-to-be!

We're also booking the Romance Extravaganza package, is it only the 25 photos included and not the photographer themselves? I automatically assumed it meant both. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I'm getting married in Tulum in February 2017 (although not booked yet as we can't until January). However, I've exchanged many emails with the hotel already to make sure there's no hidden costs for the reception as there isn't a package as such. My biggest struggle is getting recent photos from them, has anyone got any of their ceremony, dinner & reception photos they could show me please? I'm struggling to visualise what it can look like from just the catalogue of flowers they've sent me. Also, I don't know whether to go for the Symbolic or Legal ceremony, will the Legal one mean it's legal in the UK also or just in Mexico? And is there anything I need to do back in the UK to make it Legal? I appreciate any help from former brides :-) Thanks, Steph
