Hi all Just a quick post from Scotland! Back early hours and wanted to let you know our wedding was perfect! Alejandra was a star - right down to I wanted name cards for dinner stuck in limes on the day and this was achieved. The setting is spectacular, hotel lovely and the photo shop in the hotel I can absolutely recommend - our album is stunning. Mac makeup used in spa, my hair was lovely too. Flowers were amazing! As I said - a very quick post - will get pics up shortly!! I was very relaxed up to and including the day - allowed Alejandra to do her job (she's organised several hundred) and everything ran like clockwork. If you don't want your parents names on marriage certificates all you need is passports and Visa cards issued on your flight. If you want parents names on marriage cert you will need original birth certificates. We requested certificates translated into English and these will be sent out with the apostle marriage cert - we were given a copy on the day. Evonne

Hi all I have been in touch with wedding co-ordinator Alejandro and she is excellent. She has confirmed she has all the necessary legal paperwork requirements and all in order. I'm a bit disappointed with table sizes - they hold maximum of 12. With such small numbers (14) I was hoping for us all to be at same table. Tables are rectangular too - again I was hoping for round tables. I'm being picky! My bouquet - they are struggling to do purple for me but I'm working on that! I'm going for Star package as we don't want romantic dinner / couple spa etc but we are having the Mariachi Band. The choices of flowers are limited with that package. Communication has definitely ramped up in final few weeks. To be fair to Connie, the general package information was provided early days when we booked, however it would have been helpful to have more specific pricing for my individual requirements before now. I'm feeling much more confident now and more relaxed again which is good given our wedding is only a few weeks away! We are also at the hotel for 9 days prior to our ceremony so plenty time to sort out minor details. Thanks for the info and advice. Evonne

Hi @Mention. We leave scotland on 2nd May and our Wedding is on the 11th May. I had sent all my information to Connie but was never getting any responses to my emails! I sent an urgent email on Monday requesting a response and Connie has replied early hours today to say she will be working on my file today and passing my details to Wedding Co-ordinater. With 4 weeks to go, I have no idea how much the wedding will cost, I have no confirmation the photographer, judge or mariachi band is booked or on a smaller matter if tables for Dinner are round or square. However, I take great comfort that these guys do this every day and I have never heard a bad report regarding anyone's wedding so I'm going with the flow on this Our wedding party is only 15 with a family of four staying out with the hotel. I'm hoping the actual wedding co-ordinator will ramp up communication now. It's the price that worries me the most. I've asked for extras in relation to coloured sashes for the chairs, cocktail party etc etc. and would really like confirmation of what that costs. I would certainly send an Urgent email to Connie now - I'd imagine you should be dealing with the actual co-ordinator now given your wedding is a couple of weeks before mine? I bet you are now very excited - not long to go!! Evonne
