@@MelissaH113 I'm still selecting among few photographers (EMwedding, Gilda, mtm, and hotel photographer (mango production)). I want to have some family pictures as well since it's very rare I can get our family to be in one place. But I'm also trying to be within reason (budget). I want to have a video of my wedding and not all photographers offer services with video coverage only emwedding and hotel photographer. So are you renting out one of the restaurants or doing your reception outdoors?

@@MelissaH113 She said to not worry since they are opening their activities as a new hotel at early November. She did not go through my detailed questions regarding my wedding and probably just doing quick emails to everybody saying they are doing okay. She's probably going to emailing you soon since your wedding is scheduled in November. I was looking at pictures of hotel damages mostly it's flooding with mud. I think they will make changes of the wedding areas depending on renovation/re-construction schedules. Hang in there! I strongly believe it's going to be okay by November . BTW, who is your photographer?

@@MelissaH113 I received an email from Lupita. Did you get any emails back from Riu wedding coordinator?

@@MelissaH113 Good News, Riu has updated their website today and said that Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas Hotel will reopen its doors to guests on October 9th and Riu Santa Fe Hotel will reopen just a week later on October 16th. I still have not heard back from Lupita. I'm wondering if the Lupita from Sandos is the same personnel from Riu or maybe just the same name. Anyway, I started to get email responses from other vendors as well and they told me that the internet just got back yesterday.

Hi Melissa113, I called the call center last Wednesday 9/17 and had the same response. According to the personnel that I spoke with, they may probably be back in operation by October but he said that they don't know the extent of the damages. Hi Ladies, I am scheduled to get married at Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas on December 6th. I have not heard anything from my wedding planner, just an update from the website to call their call center regarding reservation. Has anyone heard about future bookings for Riu?
